*2008* COLLEGE NEWS FLASH... CONGRATULATIONS !!!

On March 20th, Phillip crossed over into brotherhood with the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity (Black & Gold). He now has a whole new family of brothers that are organized for a common social purpose, interest, and pleasure. Most Fraternities are known for building stronger characters through scholastic, professional, and extracurricular activities.

And we Pray that Phillip (and our other college students) continue to build on his/their character(s) and career(s).

So, please help me in Congratulating Phillip on achieving a goal that he had set for himself and successfully accomplished. PHILLIP, we CONGRATULATE you!

Within our own family, Phillip will be the newest Black & Gold brother. Yes, Uncle Scott (1st), Lathon (2nd), and Scotty (3rd) has been an Alpha Phi Alpha brothers since their college years. I'm sure they will have newfound relationships to share and much to chat about.

Lets PRAY that all goes well with Phenius & Carolyn ADOPTION process of their future Daughter from Ethiopia (Africa). As we all know, the adoption process here locally is difficult so just imagine what the process abroad must be, not to mention the expense involved.

Continue to PRAY that their family grows to be four (4) and that we all get meet our new family addition along with her parents and brother at our 2008 Family Reunion.

Congrats to Dallas for being promoted to Assistant Principal at an elementary school in Chicago. Way to hang in there!
